In the Presidential Villa, former Zamfara State governor, Senator Abdul’aziz Yari, expressed his confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s choices for ministerial nominees.
Yari emphasized that the Senate is conducting a rigorous screening process to ensure the credibility of each candidate brought forward by Tinubu.
Yari stated, “The Senate believes strongly that Tinubu has done a thorough and deep investigation about the credibility of each and every person brought on board. So we are doing our best to ensure that we thoroughly interrogate the nominees to the satisfaction of Nigerians.”

Tinubu is right
The Senate has already begun the screening process for the ministerial nominees submitted by Tinubu last week.
Some of the nominees who have been screened include Nasir El-Rufai, Wale Edun, Dave Umahi, Nyesom Wike, Betta Edu, and others.
It is evident that Tinubu’s careful selection process is receiving praise and confidence from various political figures, including Senator Yari.

The Senate has unveiled President Bola Tinubu’s list with 28 ministerial nominees.
The names were announced by the Senate President, GodsWill Akpabio, during Thursday’s plenary.
The list of ministerial nominees was hand-delivered by Femi Gbajabiamila, who is both the Chief of Staff and a former Speaker of the House of Representatives.
