Tobi Amusan, the world record holder in women’s hurdles, has recently been charged with an alleged anti-doping rule violation.
The charges against her are related to her missing three drug tests within a 12-month period.
This development has raised doubts about her participation in the upcoming world championships.

She denied all the charges
Taking to Instagram, Amusan confirmed the charges and expressed her determination to contest them.
She intends to have her case heard by a tribunal of three arbitrators before the start of the World Championships in Budapest next month.
Amusan emphasized her commitment to clean athletics and mentioned that she is regularly tested by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU), the governing body responsible for doping issues in international track and field.
She intends to vigorously fight the charges brought against her.

Tobi Amusan wins 100m hurdles at Silesia Diamond League
In another news, Tobi Amusan, the current world record holder in the women’s 100m hurdles, showed she is still the best by securing another impressive victory at the Silesia Diamond League.
Clocking in at 12.34 seconds, she clinched first place and broke the meet record.
In a thrilling race down to the wire, Amusan closed the gap between her and American athlete Kendra Harrison.
