A debate of whether a girlfriend should do ‘wifey duties’ for her boyfriend has been going on the internet after a young woman spoke.
A chat between a man and the lady on the ‘4 Corners podcast’ made its way to TikTok where social media users have ever since then started talking.
According to the young woman, there was no reason for her to cook or as a matter of fact, do any wifey duties for a man she was dating when they are not married.

The young man however tackled that it was only right for the woman to cook so that her spouse can determine if she could cook at all before he marries her.
The lady, however, defended that if she was going to her boyfriend’s house to visit him, she would never cook for him as a matter of fact he should be the one cooking.
Reactions: If you treat me very well I’ll cook for you
While some female social media users complained that they will never cook for a man they are not married to, others didn’t mind and explained that as long as he was a nice person to them, it was not a big deal. See some comments below;

You can’t live long with a woman that can’t cook: Relationship expert reveals
In other news, a relationship expert recently tweeted an important piece of advice for men,. In his tweet, he advised that it is better for a man to marry a woman who knows how to cook well.
According to him, the food the couple eat after the age of 40 can have a significant impact on their lifespan, so the wife needs to know how to cook.
The tweet seemed to be directed towards the younger generation, which may not place as much importance on a partner’s cooking abilities when considering marriage.
