Popular Nigerian singer, Abbey Toyyib Elias, aka Skiibii, has explained why he doesn’t ask his colleagues to feature in his songs.
According to him, other singers have always reached out to him as reaching out isn’t his style.
He disclosed this to Kim Oprah in a recent interview on HipTV.

He said, “I don’t call people to do a song, it’s not my style. Maybe I want to try, I want to start doing that.”
He shared that Olamide reached out to him for a collaboration that eventually led to his first 1 million views.
“The one with Reekado Banks, we were friends, we were close. We have to have this relationship before we can work. I just don’t work with anybody. So me and Rekee, we were like very close friends. We did Sensima.
“With Kizz Daniel, he’s my close friend; everybody knows that. Me and Davido, we didn’t even talk about making music. He just texted me on Instagram.”
Skiibii added that other singers, such as Tory Lanez and Dej loaf also reached out to him for a collaboration.

I ran my label for four years without collecting a dime from my artistes – Davido
In other news, renowned Nigerian musician, Davido, has made a surprising revelation regarding his record label.
With immense success and numerous hit songs under his belt, Davido disclosed that he ran his label for a staggering four years without taking any payment from his artistes.
According to him, he felt the need to educate his artistes about the business side of the industry.
