The Nigerian Police Force has declared its intention to conduct a thorough investigation into the actions of comedian Abdulgafar Abiola, widely known as ‘Cute Abiola,’ due to his alleged desecration of the police uniform.
However, some concerned Nigerians are publicly declaring their unwavering support for the skitmaker.
The IPC (Investigate, prosecute and confiscate), an organization reported to be committed to restructuring Nigeria has taken interest in the case.

Nigerians shade the police
According to them, the condemnation of the police force is an overreach and an attempt to suppress individual expression.
Following this announcement, numerous Nigerians have taken to social media to express their criticism and disapproval of the police force’s decision to investigate and potentially prosecute the popular cute Abiola.
They said they would proceed with the prosecution of the skit maker, Cute Abiola, for his alleged actions of desecrating the police uniform
A netizen said: Cute Abiola’s skits show what many police officers do on the road, which is extortion & exploiting drivers. The skits mayn’t be accurate, but the msg is real. He’s also not the first, many content creators plus Nollywood movies portray the same image. So why not prosecute others?

Nigerian Police Force to investigate, prosecute skitmaker, Cute Abiola
In another news, The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) is set to investigate and take legal action against skitmaker, Abdulgafar Abiola, popularly known as Cute Abiola due to his inappropriate use of their uniform in his skits.
This was made known in a statement released on Thursday, by the force PRO, Olumuyiwa Adejobi.
