A Nigerian lady is aiming to pen down her name in history as the longest-cooking chef in the Guinness Records shortly after Hilda Baci set her record.

The young woman who schools in FUOYE is identified to be Damilola Adeparausi, according to her, she aims to cook for 120 hours surpassing the record of 100 hours that Hilda Baci set.

Recall that Hilda Baci made her own new record a few months ago when she cooked for a little over 100 hours, surpassing the previous Guinness record holder, Lata Tondon who cooked for 87 hours.

Some social media users were not in support of the young woman’s decision to set a new record as most stated that Hilda Baci recently broke the record and she hasn’t even been given the certificate by Guinness Records hence, it was too early for her to set a new one.

Meanwhile, at the time of reporting this story, Damilola who named her cooking marathon, “Cook-a-thon 120 hours” has been cooking for 35 hours and still going strong.

In other news, Hilda Baci shared why there’s been a delay in her certification by the Guinness Records for the longest cooking chef.

Hilda, who has become one of the most popular people in Nigeria made the video as a response to the uproar online due to her delay in certification.

She shared a video on Instagram showing her team uploading video footage from the 100 hours cook-a-thon.
