Hilda Baci, Guinness World Record holder for the highest cooking hours, talked about how expensive it was to prepare for her cook-a-thon achievement.
She spoke on Cool FM Nigeria’s Big Friday Show,’ hosted by reality TV star Tacha. In the interview,, she mentioned that the money she spent on her four-day Guinness World Record attempt could easily buy a luxury car.
She didn’t give an exact amount but compared it to the cost of a very pricey luxury car, saying, “Think of a very expensive luxury car.”
Hilda tried to get on Big Brother Naija
She decided not to state the actual cost because she didn’t want to discourage anyone, even though she could have done it on a smaller scale.
Hilda Baci also shared that before she achieved her Guinness World Record, she tried to get on the Big Brother Naija reality show four or five times, but she was never selected.
Her original plan was to participate in Big Brother Naija and then later attempt the cook-a-thon.
Regarding another chef, Chef Dammy, who attempted the same record, Baci said she wasn’t worried by her attempt.
She explained that during Chef Dammy’s attempt, she was focused on submitting evidence to Guinness World Records.
She received a request for evidence from Guinness a few days before, so her main concern was gathering and submitting that evidence.

In another news, Hilda Baci, the talented Nigerian chef, revealed that she tried to get into Big Brother Naija multiple times, but wasn’t selected.
The Guinness World Record holder revealed this in an interview with reality star Tacha, on The Big Friday Show on Cool FM.
She shared that she had planned to do her cook-a-thon after her exit from the Big Brother house.
