Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer, Tiwatope Savage, popularly known as Tiwa Savage, has issued an official statement on the recent robbery incident at her residence in Ikoyi, Lagos state.

This statement was made after the news of the robbery spread online but wasn’t confirmed by the music crooner herself.

Tiwa Savage finally confirmed the incident via her official Instagram page on the 14th of April,2023. In the statement released Tiwa, stated that the suspected robbery attack happened on 13th of April 2023 but wasn’t successful.

The criminals have been arrested

The music star, whose latest tune ‘Stamina’ is still buzzing further revealed that some of the suspected criminals were arrested and are being held for further investigation at the Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi.

In the press release, she went on to state that her family and herself were safe and experiencing no harm, and furthermore, everything was going well for her, providing a concise update on her current situation.

Though there is no vivid evidence of who the criminals are, many netizens suspected that they are her close pals.

Man arrested for robbery days after flaunting cars online 

Meanwhile, A popular Nigerian Tiktoker and socialite identified as Rich Major has been arrested by the Edo police command for alleged robbery and terrorizing of Amagba area of Benin City.

The young man met his waterloo after the security operatives arrested him and his accomplices on Tuesday, February 14, in Benin.

His arrest has since sent a wave of shock to the spine of Nigerians on social media, with a police source saying youths of the community apprehended him during a failed operation.
