Reactions in manifold have continued to trail picture of President Muhammadu Buhari watching France vs Morocco game with some world leaders on Wednesday, December 14.
The Nigerian leader, who was in Washington for a visit, was seen in a picture shared by President Joe Biden of the United States on social media.
Biden in a post available on both his verified Twitter and Instagram handles described as “honour” the moment shared with his counterparts from around the world, including the “Prime Minister Akhannouch of Morocco.”
“It was a great honor to watch today’s World Cup match alongside Prime Minister Akhannouch of Morocco.
No matter who you’re rooting for, it was remarkable to watch how much this team has been able to achieve,” POTUS tweeted.
Nigerians on social media have trolled the president, with a tweet saying Buhari watching the game made the Atlas Lions lose.

Meanwhile, the game ended in 2-0 defeat for the Atlas Lions as the defending champion, France, booked another glorious spot in the final against Argentina.
Morocco gave a hard fight but their efforts were not enough to stage a comeback as a goals from both Theo Harnadez and Randall Kolo Muani made the huge difference.
