 They declared that welcoming the striker back would send a dangerous message about sexual assault and abuse.

These determined advocates, known as ‘Female Fans Against Greenwood’s Return,’ are raising their voices against what they believe would be an injustice.

Planned protest against Greenwood 

 They’re gearing up for an electric protest right outside the iconic Old Trafford stadium just before United’s thrilling season opener against Wolves on Monday.

The tale of Greenwood’s suspension and subsequent legal battle has been anything but ordinary. 

From his suspension in January 2022 due to disturbing audio and images circulating on social media to the serious charges of attempted rape, controlling behaviour, and assault in October 2022, Greenwood’s journey has been turbulent. He vehemently denied all allegations.

The Crown Prosecution Service dropped all charges against Greenwood. A stunning mix of factors led to this unexpected turn of events, including key witnesses stepping back and new evidence coming to light.
