Film maker and Chief Executive Officer of Ebony Life Group, Mosunmola Abudu also known as Mo Abudu has acknowledged the negative criticisms of her recent movie, Chief Daddy 2 which was released on the 1st of January on Netflix.
The CEO of the EbonyLife Group in a post on her verified Instagram account said:”I am aware of the mixed reactions to the release of Chief Daddy 2 on the 1st of January on Netflix. While some people enjoyed the film, others did not, and so I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge our Chief Daddy fans that felt some disappointment with the sequel”
Mo Abudu while appreciating those who expressed their disappointments in the movie for their constructive feedback, informed them that their voices have been heard.
Adding that, she is open to feedbacks, which will be of help to her and her team to improve so they can deliver great quality productions.
After the epic release of “Chief Daddy” in 2018, much anticipation trailed the news of the release of a sequel, ‘Chief Daddy 2: Going for Broke’.
‘Chief Daddy 2’, tells the unique but hilarious story of a dead wealthy man, whose numerous concubines and children jostle for his inheritance after his death. Critics has described the movie as a fairly good attempt to correlate the first released version and the new sequel which created a myriad of pitfalls.
