Nigerians, particularly football fans, were displeased with Napoli’s TikTok video, deeming it disrespectful for an official account to mock Victor Osimhen after he missed a penalty against Bologna.
Minister of Sports, Owan Enoh, has now become involved in the ongoing saga between Osimhen and Napoli. Enoh has reached out to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Nigerian ambassador to Italy regarding the matter.
Even the official social media platforms of the Super Eagles of Nigeria chimed in, responding to Napoli’s video by sharing a compilation of Osimhen’s successful penalty goals for the national team.
