Erik ten Hag, the Manchester United manager, disagreed with the decision that Alejandro Garnacho’s goal against Arsenal was offside.
He thought the VAR used the wrong angle to make the call. But, according to former referee Mike Dean, the decision was correct.
In the game, Garnacho believed he had scored to put Manchester United ahead, but after VAR and the on-field referee Anthony Taylor reviewed it, they said he was offside. Shortly after, Arsenal scored, and then they added another goal to win the game.

Mike dismisses Ten Hag’s Complaints over VAR decision
Ten Hag was upset with several decisions in the game. He mentioned a penalty that wasn’t given and a foul on one of his players in the penalty area that he felt was missed by VAR. He also insisted that Garnacho’s goal should have counted.
Mike Dean understands Ten Hag’s frustration but believes the VAR made the right call. He acknowledged that it was a very close decision, but in his initial view, he thought it was offside.

Stamford Bridge has fallen: Chelsea lose at home to Forest Boys
In another news, Chelsea’s unbeaten home record under manager Mauricio Pochettino ended when Nottingham Forest’s Antony Elanga scored the lone goal, securing their first win at Stamford Bridge since 1995.
Although Chelsea had a promising start, Nottingham Forest’s strong defense made it challenging for them to find the net.
Mauricio Pochettino had to make an early substitution in the second half, replacing captain Ben Chilwell with Noni Madueke and introducing Cole Palmer for his debut.
