UNILAG student identified as Barnabas Peter, a 300 level student from the department of finance, won an entrepreneurial start-up competition with amazing tech innovation.
The young man came out as first position at the project innovation 2 marketing (I2M) accelerated incubator Program.
The program which took place in UNILAG on the 3rd of November had participants from across the country.

His project, Travaye, which was supposed to help tourists, low income earners, and those who are excited in visiting new places came out overall after the six weeks intensive incubation program where he refined his knowledge on the business.
The event saw a lot of dignitaries in attendance due to its importance, Engr. Jennifer Adighije, the senior special assistant to the president of Nigeria on Digital economy, communication and Innovation.

In other news, sudents of the Federal University of Lagos, also known as Unilag, have gone online to protest against the hike in their school fees.
As reported by Ikejabird, the Federal University of Lagos, popularly known as Unilag, recently increased its school by over 400%, attracting the attention of everyone.
The hashtag #saveunilagstudents is currently trending on Twitter as students express their concerns and urge the university management to address the issue.
