Tinubu’s meets with King Charles III before COP28 Climate Conference

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made significant strides in strengthening the partnership between Nigeria and the United Kingdom during his attendance at the COP28 Climate Summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Tinubu, who met with His Majesty, King Charles III of England, on the sidelines of the summit, described the encounter as “productive” and emphasized the importance of the meeting in bolstering the relationship between the two nations. 

He expressed optimism about the positive impact of their joint efforts on the planet’s future, particularly in setting an equitable global standard for environmental stewardship.

COP28 Climate Summit  will be held in Abuja 

President Tinubu’s engagement with King Charles III underscores Nigeria’s commitment to international cooperation on climate action and environmental sustainability. 

As the COP28 Climate Summit progresses, the collaborative efforts between Nigeria and the United Kingdom are poised to make a meaningful contribution to global environmental initiatives.

Tinubu is expected to return to Abuja following the conclusion of the summit, with the strengthened partnership between Nigeria and the United Kingdom paving the way for continued collaboration on environmental and other critical issues.
