“The President’s withdrawal of the above-mentioned nomination is directed with immediate effect.”
“All other appointments to the Board and Executive Management team of FERMA are not affected by this directive.”
What led to this decision?
Ikejabird recalls that the 24-year-old was nominated as the chairman on Friday, the 13th of October.
However, there were mixed reactions among Nigerians regarding Kashim’s appointment due to concerns about his experience in leading the organization. Many opined that he’s young and lacks substantial experience and knowledge.
It’s possible that these reactions led Tinubu to reconsider and withdraw his appointment.
