Popular Nollywood actor Ali Nuhu has expressed his disapproval of a controversial music video by Logos Olori, a signee of music star Davido’s label, DMW.
The video for the song ‘Jaye Lo’ has caused quite a fuss on social media, particularly among Muslims.
The video features people praying and dancing in front of a mosque, which has been deemed disrespectful to the Islamic religion.

Ali Nuhu took to his Instagram page to voice his concerns, stating that while creativity is essential in the entertainment industry, it should not come at the cost of disrespecting other people’s religions, cultures, and traditions.
He specifically wrote:
“I just came across the controversial video by @davido, as much we want to be creative in Our various fields, we should learn to respect other people’s religion, culture and tradition.”
He specifically called on Davido to take down the video and apologize to the Muslim community for hurting their sentiments.
The actor’s comments added to the criticism that Davido and Logos Olori have faced over the controversial music video.
