In a recent speech at the first National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu expressed his belief that the 2023 presidential election was one of the most credible in Nigeria’s history. 

Despite facing legal challenges from opposition parties, including the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), and Allied People’s Movement (APM), Tinubu remains confident in the fairness of the election.

During the meeting, Tinubu urged party members to unite and focus on the development and progress of the country.

The party is in your hand 

He acknowledged the ongoing court battles but emphasized that the election was conducted with a sense of fairness and freedom.

“We are facing challenges in court,” Tinubu stated, “but let’s redirect this party and show the country that we are united for a purpose – development, progress, and a better future for all.”

Tinubu’s remarks come amidst the pending petitions before the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja. 

Despite the legal disputes, Tinubu remains committed to steering the party towards a promising future, respecting the will of the people while striving for national growth.

President Tinubu urges APC to prioritize good governance for Nigerians

In a recent meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Bola Tinubu emphasized the importance of delivering effective service to the Nigerian people. 

He called on the party’s leadership and elected officials to focus on good governance, aiming to improve the nation’s economic and political situation for the benefit of the poor.

During the meeting, Abdullahi Ganduje and Senator Basiru Ajibola were elected as the new National Chairman and National Secretary of the party.
