Deoye Falade, a Digital Strategist from Lagos, has probed Nedu’s revelation that he caught two celebrities with his friend in a hotel.
The communication strategist said the story does not add up, adding that it may be a lie.
Looking critically into what the influential podcaster said, Falade pokes further holes on Nedu’s revelation.
He said it does not look likely that the broadcaster has the key to the hotel room based on the following reasons:
“This is a hotel where you can’t use the elevator beyond the first floor (where there are no rooms) if you don’t have a key card. Your key card can only access the floor your room is on,” Falade said.
The Lagosian further added that the only way Nedu could have walked in on his colleague was if he had an extra key card.
“So, the only way he can even ‘walk in’ is if he has an extra key card, which can only happen if it’s a room with a twin bed that was booked by two people. Colleagues on a work trip and friends often fall into this category.
“However, I doubt anyone with enough money to book a room at Hilton with plans to do agbere of a threesome degree will book a twin bed hotel room.
“I know enough to know that celebrities and influencers get up to some insane shit but that particular scenario? I’m calling cap,” he added.
Falade stated that what he mentioned above may prove Nedu was lying. He also said the broadcaster must have thought less of his fans to come up with that kind of lie.
“People really don’t think their lies through. But then again, people also don’t think here so lies are swallowed hook, line and sinker. Which is why we end up voting for lamba professors and corn-artists,” he said.
