Kano State Government suspends three school principals for not doing their job properly. They didn’t show up for work on Fridays for a long time, and the government doesn’t accept that.
The schools affected are Government Girls Secondary School Dawanau, Government Girls Secondary School Kwa, and Government Arabic Secondary School Dawanau.
The Commissioner of Education,Umar Doguwa visited the schools and decided to suspend these principals immediately.

We are a serious government
The government wants to make sure schools run well, so they will replace the suspended principals with new ones who will take their job seriously.
In addition to the principals, some teachers were also found to be skipping work, and they will be questioned about it.
On the other hand, the Principal of Government Girls Secondary School Harbau got praised for being a diligent and dedicated worker, and the government rewarded her for her good work.

Kano government provides international scholarships to people with disabilities
Meanwhile, the Kano State Government has provided overseas scholarships to Kano residents with disabilities.
According to the government, people with disabilities will benefit from the state government’s foreign scholarship program provided they meet the requirements.
Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa, the State Commissioner for Education, made the announcement on Thursday and said: “We will surely offer scholarships to those with First Class and Second Class Upper degrees, including those with disabilities, to encourage them to become productive citizens and live meaningful lives.”
