Zayyanu Yusuf, a successful tea seller who operates on a bicycle at Kofar Ruwa Market, Kano state, using disposable cups, has shared his story.
Prior to starting the tea business, Yusuf had tried his hands on many businesses in Maiduguri but none of them succeeded so he relocated to Kano state.
While living in Kano, he noticed the people loved tea but had no one to supply it to them readily, so he decided to meet the need.
As a father of six children, Yusuf said he found the tea business to be a good source of income for the upkeep of his big family.
He stated that he carries out his business with passion and does not see it as stressful in any way.
Whatever your hands find to do, do well
“People come from far and near to buy from me” he said adding that it was as a result of the quality of his tea.
Yusuf noted that he inky used the best products to make his tea, and he ensured his cups and utensils were clean all the time.
To him, being trustworthy in business was of utmost importance as it wins the hearts of one’s customers and gives them confidence in what they are purchasing.
Though the tea seller trades primary types of tea such as black tea, green tea, white tea, oolong tea, herbal tea and hibiscus tea, he stated that the latter was his best seller.
Yusuf hopes to buy a motorcycle to enable him to move around faster. His ultimate goal however is to make enough money to enable him to pay pilgrimage to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Sharp Sales – Customers Empty Shop as Nigerian Seller Collects Old Naira Notes

A Nigerian lady has shown her almost empty shop from purchases with old naira notes.
Her sales increased tremendously, evidenced by the scanty shelves in the video after she announced that she was still collecting old naira notes from customers who wanted to buy things at her shop.
