Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe has finally revealed the fate of the 67 gay men who were arrested for attending a gay wedding.
After giving a brief of the case, the PPRO stated that investigations are still ongoing on the case, however, 67 out of the men have confessed and have been dragged to court.
He asserted that it was preposterous that these Nigerian men wanted to act like they were Westerners forgetting that the tradition and culture differ.

PRO Edafe added that each of them would be charged with nothing less than 45 years imprisonment because they disobeyed the law and were caught in the act.
“All the 67 gays arrested at the gay wedding in Delta state will soon be charged to court and the least sentence will be 14 years Imprisonment, we are Nigerians and our culture and tradition is different from the Western countries,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Delta police have made an official statement and released a video of the gay wedding that was disrupted by them.
Ikejabird reported that about 60 homosexuals were apprehended by the police after reports reached that two men were having a wedding.
Following this, the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Bright Edafe stated that a male cross-dresser was intercepted by the police, and he revealed that he was on his way to a gay wedding which led to the arrest of 6 suspects both male and female.
