He wrote, “Dear ladies if u give ur lover or husband money to purchase a property, make sure the property is bought in ur name; If u also contributed a significant amt, ensure ur name is on the document as joint ownership. No-one is praying for bad news, but the relationship might fail.”
Reactions: Experience teaches one the best
While some people agreed with Regha’s viewpoint, others emphasized the importance of trust in such situations. Here are some comments:
@Jaybhe6: Well, experience teaches one the best. Whoever doesn’t know this at this point isn’t really serious. Also, there have been some people that bought properties in the name of their partner and have never regretted it. So, it’s not all bad, But just to be safe…
@Generous2You: Y’all expecting una marriage to fail in the future bcuz y’all have always had the thought that one day that una union will fail so, it’s better to start securing belongings on time and await the outcome… Since it’s in the mind, it’ll surely happen.
@BIG TINO1: Funny but true tho, things are really happening this days.
@real_soldierboy: Building a foundation of trust and shared goals is key in any relationship. While practical precautions are wise, focusing on open communication and mutual respect can also strengthen the bond.”
@akay_clemm: Wise suggestion to consider when it comes to financial matters in a relationship. Ensuring proper documentation and joint ownership can help protect both parties in case of any unforeseen circumstances. It’s always important to transparent communication about financial decisions.
@ThatCruiseMe: Marriage is a partnership. The sooner we understand that the better for everyone entering into such partnerships.
@jacobdumuje: Even though this advice is somehow, especially to us, men, it’s sensible. It’s what I would’ve done, if I were to be a woman.
@youngskidmusic: As for men, please Hakimi your properties too. Some women only come into your life to steal your wealth/property, and not to stay with you forever. Stay safe out there guys.
