Femi Gbajabiamila, the former speaker of the National Assembly, expressed his gratitude to the President for appointing him as the Chief of Staff of Nigeria. 

In a tweet, he assured the president that he would diligently perform his duties and fulfill the role with utmost dedication.

Having served in the Nigerian parliament for 20 years, Femi Gbajabiamila has been elected to the National Assembly six times. His experience and track record in politics make him well-suited for his new position.

He would start work on June 14 

Femi Gbajabiamila will assume the role of Chief of Staff of Nigeria starting from June 14th, marking a new chapter in his career.

Femi Gbajabiamila finally speaks on being COS to the president 

In another news, Olufemi Gbajabiamila has finally responded to Nigerians on his assumed position of being the Chief of Staff to the newly elected President of Nigeria.

The outgoing speaker of the House of Representatives reprimanded those speculating his appointment as the chief of staff (COS) to President Bola Tinubu that the “system works in its own”

He made this statement after some reports on Thursday that Gbajabiamila had been named as the COS of the newly inaugurated president.
