In a recent development, Nigerian filmmaker Oluwadabest, narrowly escaped a robbery attempt on Otedola bridge.
Oluwadabest, who took to his Twitter handle to recount his experience, said he survived because of God’s grace, street smartness, and his tinted car windows.
In his tweet, he expressed his gratitude to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwoolu, for advising citizens to always roll up their car windows while driving, which he said helped him avoid getting his head slashed by the robbers who were with a cutlass.

Thank God for Grace
Although there was a police checkpoint a few meters away from the scene of the incident, the officers present allegedly did nothing to get the robbers who had just attempted to attack Oluwadabest.
Despite the traumatic experience, Oluwadabest expressed gratitude for his life and the fact that none of his valuable equipment, worth over 10 million Naira, were stolen.
This incident serves as a reminder to everyone to be vigilant and cautious while commuting, especially in areas prone to criminal activities.

Sanwo-Olu inspects fire damage at Apongbon Market, Lagos Island
Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu was at Apongbon, Lagos Island to inspect the damage caused by the fire incident around Eko Bridge, Ebute Ero and Environs.
