T.B Joshua: Church leaders put up private aircraft for sale as EFCC invites 20 over looting

Three months after the passing of the founder of The Synagogue Church of All Nations ( SCOAN), Senior Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua ( T.B Joshua), prophets and prophetess of the church have allegedly put up his private aircraft for sale, looted church’s money vaults as 20 have been invited by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission ( EFCC).

According to some members residing in the church who spoke to IkejaBird in confidence, some disciples who had access to the church’s asset put up the late Prophet’s aircraft for sale without the knowledge of the current head of SCOAN, Mrs. Evelyn Joshua but was stopped when the pilot declared to Evelyn.

In a letter of invitation sighted by IkejaBird, signed by EFCC’s Lagos State Zonal Commander, Ahmed Ghali, the following members are expected to report for interview and questioning today for alleged syphoning of funds and breaking of church’s money vault.

A source told IkejaBird that four mobile phones of late T. B Joshua phone that was in custody of a prophet, the memory has been wiped off after Mrs. Evelyn request to have it.

“They have carried out huge fraud that has made many of them multi-millionaires since Baba’s death. Many of them are on the list of EFCC. They are up to 20. They seized the church immediately after the Prophet died in June and didn’t want his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Joshua, to be part of the church. They have made themself Overseers. They have established a governing council with some living in the prayer mountains. They went to the vault at night and used a Ghana-Must-Go bag to loot money. They also went to open the Emmanuel global network where they asked international partners to donate without the knowledge of Evelyn,” the source said.

Following the forceful eviction of some disciples residing in the church at the weekend after Mrs. Evelyn was announced Chairperson, Board Of Trustee ( BOT), the church has said it was for one month to enable comprehensive audit of church’s finances and to secure major assets of the church.

Meanwhile, a statement signed by head, legal department of the church on Sunday, James Akhigbe, said there were no arrests and detention of some disciples by the newly appointed SCOAN Board of Trustees (BOT) Chairperson and leader of the church, Mrs. Evelyn appealing to the public and friends of the church to discountenance reports of alleged victimisation as it is a narrative conjured to discredit the church.
