The Super Falcons have called out the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) over unpaid wages after their impressive world cup performance.
The global entity representing professional footballers, FIFPRO, has stepped in to help the Super Falcons in their pursuit as they request their bonuses from the NFF.
Having demonstrated their prowess on the international stage, Nigeria’s women’s football team stands united, fortified by the backing of FIFPRO, as they demand the NFF uphold their obligations.

FIFPRO drags NFF over unpaid Salaries
On Tuesday, both the Super Falcons and FIFPRO (an organization for professional footballers) jointly announced that the situation is far from being resolved.
The team and FIFPRO, who supports professional footballers, made it clear that they are determined to keep seeking fairness.
They recently released a statement regarding the Super Falcons and NFF issue.
“FIFPRO is definitely helping players who are in a disagreement with the Nigeria Football Federation,” the statement says. It points out the main issues: the overdue bonus payments, money owed for their time in training camps, and unpaid expenses that go back to 2021.
