Chelsea’s unbeaten home record under manager Mauricio Pochettino ended when Nottingham Forest’s Antony Elanga scored the lone goal, securing their first win at Stamford Bridge since 1995.

Although Chelsea had a promising start, Nottingham Forest’s strong defense made it challenging for them to find the net.

Mauricio Pochettino had to make an early substitution in the second half, replacing captain Ben Chilwell with Noni Madueke and introducing Cole Palmer for his debut.

However, it was substitute Anthony Elanga who made the difference, scoring Nottingham Forest’s winning goal after an assist from Taiwo Awoniyi.

Chelsea had their chances, with Nicolas Jackson missing a crucial opportunity late in the game and Cole Palmer being introduced, but they couldn’t find the equalizer despite their dominance in possession and territory.

As a result, Nottingham Forest secured a hard-fought Premier League victory, lifting them to ninth in the table, while Chelsea dropped to 11th place in the early standings
