Aisha Yesufu, a well-known Nigerian human rights activist, has voiced her opinion in a tweet on the trolls received by Pastor Adeboye.
During the May Thanksgiving service, Pastor Adeboye stated on the altar that the Lord will help Tinubu make Nigeria great, which has since received a significant amount of criticism and backlash from Nigerians.
In a series of tweets, Yesufu expressed that Nigerians have every right to be upset with the pastor’s statement, and that some individuals do not deserve to be respected

Respect has done nothing
Aisha Yesufu further commented on the societal impact of respect in Nigeria, questioning its relevance given the fact that many leaders still act with impunity.
She also expressed the view that individuals should not be criticized for gaslighting others, as long as the targeted individuals deserve it. She went on to say that it is time to move beyond the constant emphasis on respect and focus on holding people accountable for their actions.

In another news, Emmanuel Omoregie, a final year student of University of Benin has made a statue of Aisha Yesufu to “appreciate her roles towards contemporary activism in Nigeria.”
Sculpture was pure work of art and looked really good. This sculpture was to encourage her because she has really gone all out Nigerians
