Nigeria must be run in a business like manner: Reno Omokri calls for higher taxes for foreign businesses

Meanwhile, Nigerian activist Reno Omokri drew attention to the significant revenue made by South African companies in Nigeria, urging the Nigerian government to take decisive action to protect the country’s economy.

He gave examples like the MTN Nigeria Limited, which generates ₦2 trillion in revenue annually from Nigeria, and DSTV which earns ₦300 billion. This money leaving Nigeria puts pressure on the country’s currency, the Naira, and affects its value.

Omokri suggests that Nigeria should tax these South African companies more and limit how much profit they can take out of the country.
