Simi emphasized that women often struggle to love themselves when confronted with negative comments about their natural hair.

She accused the preacher of perpetuating harmful stereotypes and admonished her for being a detrimental role model for young women by offering misguided advice.

She pointed out the increase of skin-whitening products in regions with a predominance of beautiful dark-skinned women, indicating the influence of such harmful messaging.
Simi also criticized the preacher’s role as a supposed role model, lamenting the disheartening impact of such advice.
In response to criticism she received for wearing a wig in her profile picture, Simi defended her stance and urged people to refrain from dictating how women should change for the sake of others.
She made it clear that individuals should have the freedom to wear whatever they choose and should cease from diminishing women’s self-worth with negative judgments.
