Poju Oyemade, senior pastor of Covenant Christian Centre, used Solomon’s case to speak about how it is sometimes important to overlook things if it is for a better course. 

 However, his post received much criticism from some netizens on Twitter. They argued that it is inappropriate for a pastor to preach a message that encourages compromising on what is right. 

Many claimed he was not a true pastor and accused him of promoting corruption in Nigeria.

He is supporting Tinubu, Nigerians claim

The backlash resulted in harsh comments, leading Pastor Oyemade to block some of his followers on Twitter.

Interestingly, many Peter Obi’s supporters were among those attacking Pastor Oyemade. 

They interpreted his tweet as advising Peter Obi to accept defeat and refrain from pursuing legal action, as Obi is currently doing in court.

Netizens even said:@pastorpoju is telling Nigerians to accept an entity that not only robbed, but maimed and killed in his bid rule a country. 1 John 4: 1 – 11, advices people of faith to check every vessel that claims to speak God’s word. Pastor Poju Oyemade, who do you speak for: God or Tinubu?

@kummydrey:Pastor Poju Oyemade is blocking people because they are calling out his sermon, which encourages Believers to accept CORRUPTION or MANIPULATION and move on like nothing happened.

@oeikana:If only every #Nigerian was like me, so many of these criminals called ‘men of God’ would have run out of business by now. While the Nigerian State continues to fund the criminality of politicians, Nigerians on the other hand are funding the lifestyles of lying Pastors.

Celestial prophet gives Pastor David Ibiyeomie 14 days to apologize

In another news, A well-known Celestial prophet has issued a 14-day ultimatum for Nigerian pastor David Ibiyeomie to publicly apologise for his recent comments regarding the Celestial Church of Christ.

Expressing strong criticism towards Ibiyeomie, the prophet called for him to retract his statement and offer an apology. 

During a church service, Ibiyeomie expressed his disapproval of white garment churches, including the Celestial Church of Christ, due to their worship style
