Shehu Sani, a former lawmaker, has responded to reports claiming that Babatunde Fashola, the former Minister for Works and Housing, is allegedly writing the judgment for the Presidential election tribunal.
The tribunal is currently handling petitions filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP) presidential candidates, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, contesting the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the February 25th election.
Taking to his Twitter page, the former Kaduna Central lawmaker expressed skepticism about the claims.

He stated that it is difficult to believe that the Justices of the Presidential election tribunal would compromise their integrity by allowing someone to write the judgment for them, and described the story as either speculative or fictional.
The allegations have raised concerns about the credibility of the tribunal’s proceedings, but Shehu Sani’s reaction highlights the need for concrete evidence before drawing any conclusions.

Tinubu praises fairness of 2023 presidential election
Meanwhile, in a recent speech at the first National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu expressed his belief that the 2023 presidential election was one of the most credible in Nigeria’s history.
Despite facing legal challenges from opposition parties, including the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), and Allied People’s Movement (APM), Tinubu remains confident in the fairness of the election.
During the meeting, Tinubu urged party members to unite and focus on the development and progress of the country.
