Serena Williams, the legendary American tennis player, has happily announced the arrival of her second child.
She gave birth on Tuesday to a baby girl, whom she named Adira River Ohanian.
Breaking the news on Twitter, her husband, Alexis Ohanian wrote, “I’m grateful to report our house is teaming with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and happy & healthy mama. Feeling grateful.”

Recall that Serena Williams retired from tennis last year after she announced that she was ready to be a mum.
She revealed her baby bump at the MetGala, earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Serena Williams announced at the Met Gala in New York on Monday that she is pregnant with her second child.
She gave a hint on Instagram before arriving at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the Met Gala, saying that she was excited that Anna Wintour invited the 3 of them.
Williams and Ohanian already have 5-year-old Olympia, who Williams gave birth to in September 2017. She won the 2017 Australian Open while eight weeks pregnant; she found out that she was expecting just before the tournament began.
