Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke professionally known as Davido has cleared the air on the impersonation of his wife, Chioma’s Identity on the microblogging platform.
The singer’s talent manager, Ubi Franklin took to Twitter on the 1st of May, 2023 to call out an account that has been using Chioma’s identity.
He urged netizens to ignore every tweet of the impersonator’s account as he asserted that the tweep is not Chioma.

“This page is impersonating Chef Chi. Kindly disregard any tweet from this Twitter handle. Thank you,” he said.
In response to his words, Davido agreed with Ubi Franklin that the account is not his wife’s as he stated that Chioma does not have a Twitter account.
A quick check by Ikejabird on the Twitter page, it was found that despite the revelation of the tweep being fake, the account is still active. In reaction to this, netizens have flooded the comments section to warn and further expose that they know that the tweep is an impersonator.

A day after Davido’s statement that his wife does not have a Twitter account, the impersonator still made a Tweet generating reactions from social media users. See some of their comments;

Davido splashes millions for chioma’s birthday
Popular singer Davido has expressed his love to his wife, Chioma Adeleke with gifts worth millions of naira for her birthday.
The music star who recently spent over 16 million naira to celebrate his cousin’s birthday went all out for his wife to have a memorable and luxurious 30th birthday celebration.
In a post shared by Tunde Ednut, a friend of Davido, the videos covered the four designer bags. Among them are three Birkin bags and a customized Dior bag on which the name Chi was engraved on it.
