During Al-Nassr’s pre-season tour, Cristiano Ronaldo addressed the media and discussed various topics.
He said that that the Saudi Pro League surpasses the MLS, which comes shortly after Lionel Messi’s introduction as a player for Inter Miami in the MLS.
Messi made the decision to decline contract extensions with PSG and a potential return to Barcelona . Interestingly, he also rejected a lucrative offer to join the Saudi league but ultimately surprised everyone by opting for a move to the MLS in the United States.

Celta Vigo beat Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr mercilessly
In his pre-season friendly this summer, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr experienced a resounding 5-0 defeat at the hands of Celta Vigo on Monday night.
Ronaldo played for 45 minutes during the match, which also marked the debut of Marcelo Brozovic for the Saudi Pro League team.
The first half concluded without any goals, but the situation unraveled after the break in Faro.
Gael Alonso broke the deadlock shortly before the hour mark, followed by Miguel Rodriguez and Jorgen Strand Larsen, who both secured braces, resulting in a comprehensive five-goal thrashing without Al-Nassr managing to find the net in response.
Reactions: I’ve been waiting for this day
Messi fans are reacting to Ronlado’s statement, let’s have a look at some of the comments.
@mod: Never seen such arrogance before, bro really thinks those players would’ve gone there if they weren’t given that amount of life changing money😭
@dujar: I’ve been waiting for this day… Penaldo’s tears
@exclusive:He can never get Messi out of his head 😂
@Streplic:LMFAOOOOOOOOOO no way he cares that much about Leo man…
Difference is that when a big player joins Saudi, they get forgotten about instead of actually bringing more eyes to the league. Like with Benzema, we are going to forget about him, not watch him.
@Daniel:Ronaldo keeping bragg!ng; He d!dn’t open the way to Saudi league & n¤t the reason why players are moving there. This was how he ¤verrated himself before leaving Man United but the club played a better game right after he left. Saudi league is growing cos of the money being spent.
FIFA bans Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr over Ahmed Musa transfer
In another news, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr Saudi football club, has recently been banned by FIFA from registering new players.
This action was taken by FIFA due to Al-Nassr’s failure to fulfill their financial obligations towards Leicester City concerning the transfer of Ahmed Musa.
