The governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo Olu has visited the Amore Garden, Lekki, Lagos to support Hilda Baci as she attempts to break the Guinness Book of Record for the longest cooking time.
Recall that Ikejabird earlier reported that Chef Hilda Baci is prepared to break the longest cooking time as she sets to cook 250 recipes and started on the 11th of May where she is currently on day 3 and will end tomorrow.
Ever since the 27-year-old woman started cooking, Nigerians and some celebrities have flooded the location to share their support.
In reaction to this, the Governor of Lagos state arrived at the location to show his encouragement, he was captured to have been given a plate of food, ate her food, and praised her culinary skills.
Taking to his official Twitter page, Babajide Sanwo-Olu praised her for her dedication, energy, and determination, he also informed the world that he and every other Nigerian are proud of the young woman and concluded that he was going to continue a follow-up on her.
“I showed up to support Chef Hilda Baci, in her quest to break the Guinness World Record @GWR for the longest time spent cooking by an individual. Her dedication, passion for cooking as well as her desire to put our rich culture on the map by not only exhibiting our food but also the resilience, determination, energy and team spirit that has come to be known as the spirit of Lagos and indeed Nigeria is truly remarkable”
“We are proud to have Hilda embarking on this journey in our state. I will continue to follow the updates and look forward to the final declaration,” he said.

Multi-talented TV producer, presenter, and foodpreneur, Hilda Effiong Bassey, professionally known as Hilda Baci who was earlier reported to be making 250 recipes to break the longest cooking marathon record appeared to be tired before the due date.
Hilda Effiong Bassey started her 4-day cooking marathon challenge on the 11th of May and she is now on day 3 fast approaching the finish line.
The event which is taking place at Amore Gardens in Lekki, Lagos, seeks to showcase Hilda’s culinary skills using various local and intercontinental recipes to put Nigeria on the global culinary map of the World.
