The victim of a train accident which occurred on Thursday, December 15, in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has been revealed as Selimota Idowu Suleiman.
She was a journalist with NTA Channel 5, Abuja, and a Principal Accountant with the Finance Department.
The deceased was crushed to death while in her car by an Abuja-bound Kaduna passenger train.
Emerging reports claimed that she was on her way to the office when her car got stuck on the train track.
Efforts by a good samaritan to help proved abortive as she was crushed by a fast moving train.
The unfortunate video of the incident has gone viral online, generating mixed reactions among Nigerians.
In a tweet by NTA, it was confirmed that Selimota was the principal accountant with the agency’s finance department. She has been buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
