Afrobeats sensation, Divine Ikubor aka Rema has sparked mixed reactions over his tribute to Nigerian singer, Mohbad.
MohBad’s untimely demise on September 12th, left countless family, friends and fans heartbroken.
On Sunday, Rema paid tribute to the singer on his Instagram story, confessing that he had failed to reply MohBad’s message.

He wrote, “No one deserves to go like this. I’m hurt I never saw your DM. You wrote ‘Peace of mind’ was your favorite song. Now it’s too late to write you back. God’s Angels be with you, Rest well King.”
The “Calm down” crooner however received backlash, as many accused him of intentionally ignoring Mohbad’s message.
