The Three Lions produced a dominant display against the Teranga Lions of Senegal in the round of 16 game, winning by 3-0.

France vs Poland
Olivier Giroud became France’s highest goal scorer at international level after netting his team’s first goal against Poland.
Kylian Mbappe made it 2-0 and the PSG striker added the third with a sublime finish.
Poland were given a penalty in the last minute of the game as Robert Lewandowski sent Hugo Lloris the wrong way as the match finished 3-1.
Argentina vs Australia
Lionel Messi scored his third goal of the tournament in his 1000th game with Argentina.
The PSG star nibbled in a shot beyond the defence and Matt Ryan in goal to make it 1-0.
The Socceroos were punished for a defensive error as Julian Alvarez tapped into an empty net to make it 2-0.
Mitchell Duke’s shot which took a heavy deflection on Fernandez gave the Aussies a lifeline but it was not enough for 2-1 win to Argentina.
Netherlands vs USA
Memphis Depay opened the scoring for the Dutch as Daley Blind also netted his first goal in orange colors.
The United States came back through Haji Wright in the second period but Denzel Dumfries made it 3-1 to put the game to rest.
