Real Madrid board member Jose Manuel Otero maintains his confidence that Kylian Mbappe will join the Spanish giants next summer.
Kylian Mbappe was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid during the summer transfer window after he declined to extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
While the summer move didn’t materialize, Real Madrid board member Jose Manuel Otero remains optimistic that the French superstar will join the Spanish club next season on a free transfer.

Kylian Mbappe could join Real Madrid next summer
Speaking on the Twitch channel of Remontada Blanca (via AS), Otero stated, “Mbappe had the chance to sign with Real Madrid this summer.
To come, he would have had to forgo some very substantial bonuses that he had already agreed upon with Paris Saint-Germain. Additionally, there would have been a transfer fee.
The amount that would have been paid to secure Mbappe a year earlier was astronomical. Signing Mbappe a year earlier didn’t make sense, even though he could have filled Benzema’s position.

“We hope that Mbappe has had the same thought as Bellingham. I trust that Mbappe will come. When Mbappe joins Real Madrid, he will achieve greatness.
In the meantime, he will continue his journey. He will someday win a Champions League. Currently, PSG seems to be less formidable than before because they no longer possess such talented players. Madrid offers security and a seriousness that delivers results. I trust that he will say yes when he becomes a free agent. Mbappe was destined to play for Real Madrid, without a doubt.”
