In a recent meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Bola Tinubu emphasized the importance of delivering effective service to the Nigerian people.
He called on the party’s leadership and elected officials to focus on good governance, aiming to improve the nation’s economic and political situation for the benefit of the poor.
During the meeting, Abdullahi Ganduje and Senator Basiru Ajibola were elected as the new National Chairman and National Secretary of the party.

Tinubu will prioritize welfare
President Tinubu assured that his administration would prioritize the welfare of the masses and work towards a restructured economy that addresses the needs of the poor.
Tinubu highlighted the significance of winning the election but stressed that responsive and accountable governance is an ongoing challenge.
He mentioned the removal of subsidies and emphasized the importance of meeting the aspirations of the less privileged in a restructured economy.
We need to promote unity
The President urged party members to promote unity and stability within the party, starting from the grassroots level.
He also encouraged the party to focus on development and prosperity for the country and pledged to establish international trade partnerships that benefit Nigeria’s economy and its people.
Tinubu defended the legitimacy of the 2023 election and reiterated that those who cannot accept the outcome of a free and fair election do not deserve the joy of victory.
Tinubu needs loyal people
He urged the party members to remain loyal and work together to ensure good governance and quality service delivery.
The Acting National Chairman, Sen. Abubakar Kyari, praised the party’s achievements and congratulated President Tinubu and other elected members on their victories.
He assured unwavering support to the President in facing the challenges ahead.

APC national chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, reportedly resigns
Meanwhile, speculations are circulating that the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu, has tendered his resignation, which was done to avoid being forcibly removed.
Reports suggest that Adamu’s resignation was prompted by several factors, including his lack of support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Over the past few weeks, there have been calls within the party for his resignation, with a threat to remove him at the upcoming National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting if he failed to comply.
