The 2023-2024 Premier League matchday 8 will kick off at Kenilworth Road between newcomers Luton Town and Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, October 7 at 12:30 pm.
Following the opening game, four fixtures will go down simultaneously at 3 p.m. These include Chelsea vs Burnley, two clubs that are struggling with a poor run of form. Embattled Manchester United will also host Brentford at Old Trafford during the same period, alongside Everton vs Bournemouth and Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest.
Sunday, October 9 comes with four Premier League fixtures, one of which is the most-anticipated match of the weekend between last season’s Premier League champions, Manchester City, and the second runner-up, Arsenal.
These two clubs met three months ago in the Community Shield, a match that coach Mikel Arteta and his boys won via penalties after playing 1-1 in the regular time.
Pep Guardiola and his boys have already recorded a defeat in the Premier League this season while Arsenal go into the tie with an unbeaten run in the league. Indeed, they are one of the only two sides to remain unbeaten this season, along with Tottenham Hotspur.
