Ibrahim Chattah, a veteran Nollywood actor stirred a controversy online after he shared his opinion in support of polygamy.
In a video, Femi Adebayo, asked why wives do not give much attention to their husbands once they have children, and how this makes the children prefer their mothers to their fathers.
He expressed displeasure that the father hustles to provide for the family and the mother ends up getting all the child’s love.

Chattah responded to this question by saying that polygamy was the solution to the problem. In order for a man’s wives to compete for his love, he should have more than one wife.
Furthermore, Chattah spoke on Islam and the idea of polygamy that allows a man to marry up to four wives if he can care for them equally.
“Let them compete for your attention”
He explained that a man ought to have more than one wife because it will enable him enjoy life.
In his opinion, It is better for a man to be polygamous so that all of his wives can compete for his attention as this will help freshen the relationship everyday.

Meanwhile, A man who identified himself as Sam Ejiugu on Facebook has revealed what he told his wife after he learnt about the current price of rice in the market.
Ejiugu said that his wife had requested for a bag of rice which she said was N45,000 for long grain and N38,000 for short grain.
Ejiugu told his wife that he would prefer short grain due to the price which is just N7,000 lower than the longer grain.
