There have been reports that some men dressed in Soldier uniform attacked a Police station at Ogijo in Ogun State.
The attack reportedly led to the death of a man who was clad in a soldier uniform and left many injured.
Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the incident through its PPRO Benjamin Hundeyin.
“There are stories making the rounds that riots have broken out in Odonguyan, Ikorodu,” he said.
“We wish to clarify that the unrest is at Ogijo, Ogun State, though very close to Ikorodu, Lagos. Our officers are at alert & would not allow any breakdown of law and order within Lagos State,” he added.

It was also reported that the police station at Ogijo has been set on fire but the level of casualties and properties is yet to be ascertained.
