Famed Nigerian entertainer, Charles Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, has disclosed that the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal is purportedly set to deliver its verdict on September 16.
This potential judgment pertains to petitions challenging the victory of President Bola Tinubu.
While the exact date remains unverified, the Tribunal has until September 16, 2023, to issue a judgment as stipulated by the Constitution (within a maximum of 180 days from the filing of petitions).

Obidients are you ready?
The petitions were lodged by Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, who seek Tinubu’s removal based on various allegations.
Charly Boy encouraged Obi’s supporters, referred to as “Obidients,” to prepare for the upcoming judgment.
He specifically said
“ OBIDIENTS ARE U Ready?
Tribunal (PEPT) has announced that the judgment date for the cases involving Peter Obi and the Labour Party against Bola Tinubu, INEC, Shettima, and APC, as well as the PDP’s case of Atiku against APC, INEC, and Tinubu, is scheduled for September 16, 2023.”

Shehu Sani reacts to allegations of Fashola writing Presidential election tribunal judgment
In another news, Shehu Sani, a former lawmaker, has responded to reports claiming that Babatunde Fashola, the former Minister for Works and Housing, is allegedly writing the judgment for the Presidential election tribunal.
The tribunal is currently handling petitions filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP) presidential candidates, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, contesting the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the February 25th election.
Taking to his Twitter page, the former Kaduna Central lawmaker expressed skepticism about the claims.
