Seun Kuti interview
In an interview with Nedu’s Thehonestbunch podcast, Seun Kuti explained that poverty is a big factor in this situation. He argued that people only condemn Mohbad’s father because he isn’t wealthy.
Kuti asked why there’s such a fuss when a poor person like Mohbad’s father buries his son promptly, whereas if a wealthy person like Otedola were to do the same, nobody would question it.
He also pointed out that instead of consoling the grieving father, people unfairly accuse him of being responsible for his son’s death.
