Multi-talented TV producer, presenter, and foodpreneur, Hilda Effiong Bassey, professionally known as Hilda Baci who was earlier reported to be making 250 recipes to break the longest cooking marathon record appeared to be tired before the due date.

Hilda Effiong Bassey started her 4-day cooking marathon challenge on the 11th of May and she is now on day 3 fast approaching the finish line.

The event which is taking place at Amore Gardens in Lekki, Lagos, seeks to showcase Hilda’s culinary skills using various local and intercontinental recipes to put Nigeria on the global culinary map of the World.

Hilda Effiong is tired

In a video that captured the live session of the non-stop 4 days cooking competition, Chef Hilda Effiong appeared to be tired and weak just before the actual date.

Research reveals that the current record for the world’s longest cooking marathon is held by Lata Tondon who completed the task in 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds in India in 2019.

Many Nigerians hoped and prayed for Chef Hida Effiong Bassey to finish strong and victoriously meanwhile they applauded her for her courage to initially participate in the event.
