Cristiano Ronaldo has finally arrived at his new home Al Nassr FC in Saudi Arabia in what has ushered in a new phase in the football career of the Portuguese soccer legend.
The arrival of the 37-year-old superstar was announced by his new club, saying he is on a mission to conquer Asia after a stellar career in European football.
Ronaldo, who is at the twilight of his blistering career, joined Al Nassr in a two-year- deal that will see him receive the biggest football salary in history at more than £177m per year.
Ronaldo’s new side made the announcement of the deal on December 30, describing it as historical for the Saudi Arabian league, “our nation and future generations.”
The former Machester United forward, wearing black, was seen arriving in a private jet welcomed by the President of the club and some kid fans.
He will provide a lethal attack in the front position for the Saudi Arabia giants alongside Cameroonian captain and talisman Vincent Aboubakar.
Al Nassr said Ronaldo will be unveiled on January 3, 2023.
