Babcock University, a private Nigerian higher institution in Ogun State, is under fire for reportedly hiking its school fees.
According to the students, who took to social media, the university has significantly increased fees across various courses.
For first-year students, only two courses, namely Theology and History & International Relations, remain below N900,000 per year in tuition.

Medicine is paying N5.5 million
Other programs now demand higher sums, with first-year Medicine students facing a staggering amount of N5.5 million in school fees. Similarly, Law students must pay more than N1.5 million for tuition in a year.
The cost of accommodation, feeding, and other essential services has also witnessed a sharp rise. Compulsory feeding options alone start at over N500,000 per year for all students.
